Krokus@Count’s Vampd 5/05/15

Krokus from Switzerland played a Tuesday night in Sin City. The day didn’t deter anyone from seeing this legendary old school metal band from the 80’s that had a huge hit album called “Headhunter” in 1983. It spawned MTV hits like “Screaming in the Night”, “Eat the Rich” and “Headhunter”. After that they had “The Blitz” which had more hits as well. “Ballroom Blitz” and “American Woman”.
Over their 40 year career they had many albums but those two were the biggest and they are known mostly for them.

I had never seen Krokus live before and I was very excited to see this band and hear, hopefully most of the “Headhunter” album, which didn’t happen and I was a bit disapointed in that fact. They did start with “Long Stick Goes Boom” and “American Woman”, which was a kick ass way to get underway but they didn’t really get into the groove of things until later in the short set and that was the last maybe few songs which included,”Screaming in the Night”, “Headhunter” and “Eat the Rich”, along with some other songs I was not familiar with. They ended with “Mighty Queen” which was a bit off but all in all, for such a short set it was still good to see MARC STORACE singing his ass off. The members of Krokus on this tour are: Marc Storace – vocals Chris Von Rohr – bass Fernando Von Arb – lead guitar Mark Kohler – rhythm guitar Mandy Meyer – lead & rhythm guitars Flavio Mezzodi – drums

Krokus still rocked and for that I was happy!!
